Salam u alaikum sister,
Now we run Islamic classes for sisters in English on every Sunday from 13:00pm to 15:00pm. You are most welcome to join these classes. There is no fee for it.
Asalamualaykum/ Peace be with you,
I pray you are in the best of health and Imaan. We received your email on the Anware Madina Masjid website, and look forward to helping you in any way we can. I am a teacher at the Mosque, and will be holding 'grown up' ladies classes in September hopefully if you would like to attend to learn more about Islam, or can email me on this address if you have any questions/ concerns etc. I am also in touch with a convert sister who will be helping us out in the Masjid later this year. Her name is Aisha and if you would like I could pass on your email to her? She has been a Muslim for several years, but obviously understands the difficulties and problems new Muslims face. InshaAllah hope to hear from you soon, I will pass on the details of the New Islamic classes once they are finalized soon. Salsabeel

Salam u Alaikum (peace be with you) Sister Michelle
We are very pleased to know that you became a revert Muslim. You are most welcome to our Forum. This means (I believe) that you have seen the true rays of a faith which will never let you down in both worlds. There are a number of ways to learn more about Islam. 1. English books which you can borrow or buy from some libraries or shops. I will suggest reading the translation of Quran and studying as many Ahadees (sayings of the Prophet PBUH) is the first step towards the knowledge of Islam. For translation, you can visit quranexplorer.com/quran and for Ahadees visit ttp://www.searchtruth.com/hadith_books.php. Other brothers and sisters might give you more information than me. Allah says in Surah No 94 Ayahs No 5 and 6 ?So, undoubtedly, along with the hardship there is ease. (5) Undoubtedly, along with the hardship there is ease. (6)? Allah will help you all the way through your journey along the path of learning the true knowledge. Wasalam (peace be with you) Brother in Islam Zafar Iqbal |
